Dust control remains a critical challenge in workshops, especially when cutting fibrous or cementitious panels such as MDF, gypsum and GRP. While vertical panel saws offer significant space-saving and operational benefits, their performance can be hindered by poor dust management. Elcon’s patented LIMPIO system changes that.

Developed in response to rising health and safety standards and real-world operator concerns, the Elcon LIMPIO system has redefined dust capture for vertical panel saws.
It features a rear dust capture tray and dual extraction points – one from the enclosed saw head and another directly behind the cutting line – which ensures maximum containment. Whether cutting horizontally or vertically, dust is extracted from both sides of the blade. The result: dust emissions reduced to under 0.5mg/m³, well below occupational exposure limits.
The ideal match
Even the most advanced capture system needs high-quality extraction to perform at its best, and that’s where iVision steps in. Daltons Wadkin, sole UK and Ireland agents for Elcon, rigorously tested multiple extraction units before selecting iVision’s Wood Line and Extrusion Line systems as the ideal match for the LIMPIO setup.
These high-performance standalone units deliver strong airflow, customisable filter options and seamless compatibility with various material types. Crucially, they’re built with real-world workshop demands in mind, featuring wheeled waste bins for safe handling, intelligent filter monitoring and optional touch-screen controls.

Reassurance & measurable control
iVision takes it further with cloud-connected, Industry 4.0-ready technology, enabling remote system monitoring from any office PC. In production environments where uptime and compliance are essential, this integration delivers both reassurance and measurable control.
Together, Elcon and iVision offer a complete, professional-grade solution for dust capture, which enhances operator safety, reduces workshop clean-up and ensures compliance with increasingly strict regulations.
