The online event, which aimed to raise £10,000, featured more than 25 generously donated lots from companies and individuals throughout the furnishing sector. Bidders competed enthusiastically for a broad selection of coveted items and experiences, helping to drive strong fundraising results during this festive campaign.

The funds raised will help deliver educational initiatives, skills programmes and welfare support for individuals and families connected to the furniture and furnishings trade.

Jonny Westbrooke, CEO of The Furniture Makers’ Company, said: “We were thrilled with the level of engagement from across the industry this year. Raising £9,515 demonstrates the generosity and strong community spirit of our supporters. Every pound raised will go directly towards supporting people working or formerly working in the UK furnishing industry through education, training, and welfare grants.”

The Furniture Makers’ Company would like to thank the following companies and individuals for donating a lot to this year’s auction: Blum; Boat Building Academy; Bensons for Beds; Celtheath; Designer Contracts; DFS; Dreams; Ercol; Graham Marley; Handy Ltd; Harrison Spinks; Hypnos; London School of Furniture Making; Ocee & Four Design; Sealy; Shackletons; Silentnight; Simba; Sleepeezee; Sofa Source; Tempur, and Whitemeadow.
