Every October, Daltons Wadkin transforms its Nottingham showroom . The hum of machinery mingles with the buzz of conversation, the smell of freshly cut timber fills the air, and visitors gather to see the latest woodworking and panel processing technology in action

For the Daltons Wadkin team, the Wood & Panel Machinery Show isn’t just another industry event – it’s where ideas, innovation and expertise meet under one roof.

From 7–9 October 2025, the company will open its doors once again, welcoming professionals from across the woodworking, panel processing and allied industries. This year promises to be the biggest and most diverse show yet, with live demonstrations that go beyond showcasing capability to reveal how the right technology can lower labour costs, simplify training, boost productivity and reduce waste.

The 2025 line-up blends world-first innovations with trusted industry workhorses:

•              New SCM 'Blade Off’ panel saw – a breakthrough in operator safety, stopping the blade in milliseconds.

•              New Salvador SuperStop crosscut – a programmable pusher and stop system that integrates with almost any crosscut saw.

•              Kimla CNC routers & fibre lasers – pushing precision and speed to new levels.

•              Salvador automatic crosscut saws – proven productivity leaders.

•              Elcon vertical panel saws – space-saving accuracy for sheet materials.

•              Stenner band resaws – the benchmark for high-quality timber conversion.

•              Stenner band resaws – the benchmark for high-quality timber conversion.

•              Volter CNC routers – versatile solutions for complex routing applications.

•              Wadkin & SCM classical machinery – timeless craftsmanship with modern efficiency.

•              iVision dust extraction systems – designed to exceed UK LEV legislation.

•              … and more to be announced.

It’s about more than machinery

While the machines take centre stage, the show is just as much about conversation and connection. Standing beside a working machine, discussing applications, solving problems and exploring ideas – that’s where the real value happens. Visitors leave not only inspired, but equipped with practical, actionable insights for their own operations.

There’s something extra in store this year, which marks a significant step forward for Daltons Wadkin. While the details remain under wraps, rest assured – it’s worth the trip to Nottingham.

Why this event matters

The woodworking and panel processing industries are evolving faster than ever, driven by automation, advanced materials and safety regulations. The Wood & Panel Machinery Show is an opportunity to put the very best solutions in front of you – to see them, test them and imagine what they could do in your own workshop.

Whether you’re looking to solve a production bottleneck, explore new opportunities, or simply stay ahead of the curve, Daltons Wadkin look forward to welcoming you this October.
