BPI has partnered with NMT International Shipping UK Ltd to strengthen its services for international buyers, while supporting the continued growth of its plant and machinery sales.
As BPI continues to expand its machinery offering and grow as a business, it’s actively seeking practical ways to enhance service levels and support customers throughout the buying journey.

The partnership simplifies the purchasing and export process for international buyers acquiring machinery, plant and vehicles from the UK. Overseas buyers can easily access NMT’s Roll-on / Roll-off (RoRo) shipping services for assets purchased through BPI. NMT will manage the export requirements and onward transport, providing a clear, end-to-end route from purchase to delivery.
Machinery and transport equipment represent a significant proportion of the UK’s goods exports. According to the UK Parliament House of Commons, machinery and transport equipment accounted for 37% of UK goods exports to the European Union in 2024, making it the largest single category of goods exported to that market during the year.
Kevin Gardner, Commercial Manager at BPI, said: “As we continue to grow as a business, it’s important that we also enhance the services that support both our UK customers and those buying from overseas. Machinery and transport equipment represent a substantial share of UK exports and this partnership directly supports that sector.
“By working with NMT, we can offer a practical shipping solution that helps international buyers move equipment purchased through BPI into global markets more efficiently.”
Craig Jennings, UK Sales Manager at NMT, said: “We’re looking forward to seeing what this partnership can deliver for those looking to move machinery and equipment around the world.
“With 32 offices worldwide and a trusted network spanning more than 50 countries, our team provides customised import and export services for a wide range of cargo, including cars, vans, trucks, machinery and oversized static goods. We’re here to make logistics simple.”
