Designed for demanding site conditions, Carhartt’s Storm Defender™ range delivers full waterproof protection that keeps rain out while allowing sweat to escape – helping tradespeople stay dry, comfortable and mobile in wet weather.

Storm Defender™ uses a breathable inner membrane combined with a durable, rain-resistant outer fabric. Together, they form a barrier that prevents water from getting in while allowing moisture to escape. The Storm Defender™ Relaxed Fit Heavyweight Jacket (102382) offers similar protection in a women’s-specific fit. Lightweight yet durable, it includes ample pocket storage, thumbhole cuffs and a full-length two-way front zip with double exterior storm flaps to help keep wind and rain firmly out.

For lighter protection, the Monterey Jacket (men’s 105751, women’s 106904) is fully seam-sealed and windproof, with water-repellent zips, an adjustable hood and multiple pockets for on-site essentials. It can also be packed into its own pocket once the rain eases.

The Carter Rugged Flex™ Waterproof S3 Pull-On Safety Boot (F702935) incorporates a Storm Defender™ membrane to keep feet dry while allowing moisture to escape.
