Mirka continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability after completing the EcoVadis sustainability assessment for the third year running.
In the 2026 assessment, Mirka achieved a score of 67 out of 100, placing the company among the top 27% of organisations assessed globally and earning a Bronze medal.
The result represents an improvement on Mirka’s previous EcoVadis assessment, with particularly strong performance recognised in environmental management, labour practices and human rights.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability assessment platform that evaluates companies’ sustainability performance and supports organisations in improving their sustainability practices and goals.
The assessment covers four key areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Each category, together with its related sub-categories, is carefully assessed and weighted to determine the overall score.
The EcoVadis assessment provides an independent evaluation of Mirka’s sustainability performance, offering customers and partners a transparent and reliable view of the company’s progress and current standing.
Having the assessment conducted by an independent third party also helps simplify the sharing of sustainability information with customers and business partners who require environmental, social and governance (ESG) data or sustainability performance assessments.
In addition to completing its own assessment, Mirka uses EcoVadis to evaluate and monitor sustainability performance throughout its upstream supply chain.
Mirka’s sustainability performance is also assessed through internationally recognised platforms, including IntegrityNext and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Company-level sustainability assessments can be shared through these platforms upon request.
