15 years ago, Shaper set out on a mission to make precision cutting easy and accessible to craftspeople everywhere. The company recently made an exciting announcement, which will dictate the next chapter in that journey

After a decade of close collaboration with Festool manufacturing Origin, and more recently working together on the production of BenchPilot, both teams have discovered a strong synergy.

Festool and Shaper share a deep commitment to quality, precision and the art of craftsmanship, all driven by a singular focus: serving their valued customers. Another discovery is that they both often serve the same passionate craftspeople who demand the very best from their tools.

This shared vision has led to an exciting conclusion: by joining forces, Shaper and Festool can unlock new possibilities for their users, blending Shaper’s cutting-edge digital capabilities with Festool’s century-long legacy of engineering excellence.

As a result of this, Shaper’s product lineup will officially become part of the Festool portfolio from 2027.

While the core Shaper brand and online stores will wind down later this year, Shaper takes immense pride in knowing that its products will become a foundational part of Festool’s next chapter.

"To every customer, employee and friend of Shaper who has poured their heart into this journey: thank you. Together, we created a completely new category of tools and brought our founding mission to life. Your trust, feedback and craftsmanship made this community – and these amazing tools – possible, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built together."
