HAIX, the global functional shoe and clothing specialist, has redesigned its entire workwear safety portfolio, engineered to provide the right shoe for every professional need – from warehouses to major construction sites. The revamped footwear lineup introduces a streamlined range built around XLR8, a suite of technologies that enhance comfort, control and energy efficiency throughout the working day.
The refreshed Black Eagle and Airpower XR models will be organised into three application-led categories – Safety, Heavy Duty and Heavy Duty Extreme – based on the level of protection required and the demands of the job at hand. These three lines share one goal: to offer maximum control, stability and performance for workers. With these clearly defined categories, product selection becomes easier for both end users and procurement teams.
XLR8 – The performance-enhancing technology package
All three lines of the new workwear footwear portfolio come equipped with the innovative XLR8 technology. The system promotes foot health, enhances performance and reduces fatigue. It includes HAIX’s proprietary Reforce technology, which actively supports the natural arch of the foot; an ergonomic last for optimal fit; an adaptive heel cap for balance and stability; and optimised sole cushioning for a secure, energised stance. The result: noticeably greater control with every step.
Key benefits include:
Performance that lasts the shift: Reforce technology supports healthier posture and efficient movement for greater endurance.
Comfort without compromise: Ergonomic fit, balanced cushioning and secure heel hold alongside certified protection.
Clearer choice: Three easy-to-navigate product categories aligned to use case and stress level.
Simon Ash, UK & Ireland Sales Manager at HAIX, said: “We're very proud and excited to launch our revamped workwear collection. The new portfolio demonstrates how innovation and durability go hand in hand. Our shoes are designed to help workers perform at their best while protecting them from the risks and hazards of the job day in, day out. At HAIX, we're committed to creating durable, high-quality and high-performing safety footwear and this latest innovation marks an exciting chapter for the future of safety footwear.”
The new lines explained
SAFETY – lightness meets safety

The SAFETY line is designed for users who require maximum agility and flexibility – for example, in warehouses, production facilities or mechanical engineering environments. These models are the lightest in their class while still offering uncompromising protection. An ergonomic last ensures a perfect fit, while breathable materials guarantee a pleasant climate even during long working hours. The BLACK EAGLE SAFETY 200 and 410 are highlights of this line: sporty, lightweight and stable – made for dynamic operations, indoors or outdoors. Powerful, durable and reliable, they're built for professionals who give their all every day.
HEAVY DUTY – The reliable all-rounder

In changing work environments, the HEAVY DUTY series comes into its own. It offers superior protection and support while ensuring outstanding comfort. High-quality materials and weather-resistant construction guarantee maximum reliability even under demanding conditions. Whether in construction or assembly work, models such as the BLACK EAGLE SAFETY 610 combine safety with sporty agility. Stable, breathable and robust – the all-rounder for those who get things done.
HEAVY DUTY EXTREME – Indestructible protection for the toughest jobs

For the harshest environments, HAIX has developed the HEAVY DUTY EXTREME line. Built for heavy and extremely demanding work such as mining, quarries, rail construction or intensive fieldwork, it provides uncompromising protection from all sides. With its puncture-resistant sole, waterproof upper materials and enhanced shaft stability, it sets new standards for safety and durability. Models such as the AIRPOWER XR 810 and 820 embody maximum protection and are engineered for extreme loads and absolute reliability.
The new HAIX Workwear range is certified under the updated EN ISO 20345:2022 + A1:2024. To explore the new ranges, visit www.haix.co.uk.
