Articulated knees make it easy to bend, squat and kneel, while reinforced high-wear areas ensure the trousers stand up to repeated use on tough surfaces.

Each pair of Steel Work Trousers features certified Flex Cordura™ kneepad pockets that meet EN 14404-4:2024 safety standards. These securely hold compatible knee pads, including Carhartt’s Interoperable Knee Pads, providing cushioning against hard surfaces while helping to maintain proper joint alignment during prolonged kneeling.

The Steel Ripstop Double-Front Dungarees (105075) come in a relaxed straight fit with a double-front construction. This extra layer of fabric adds protection and cushioning and includes kneepad openings. The dungarees sit comfortably at the waist and the straight leg opening fits easily over work boots. Practical detailing includes Cordura®-reinforced front ledge pockets, reinforced back pockets, a Cordura® utility loop and self-fabric kick panels that allow for alterations, helping to extend the garment’s working life.

The range also includes the Steel Ripstop Double-Front Cargo Dungarees (105074), which add extra storage with a Cordura®-extended ruler pocket, a loose bottom pocket on the left side with a secure zip section, along with a zipped leg pocket for a phone. The Steel Ripstop Double-Front Cargo Pants (105070) offer the same articulated knee design and certified kneepad compatibility, combined with multiple reinforced pockets for tools and everyday essentials.
