New STABILA LAX 60 G GreenBeam laser delivers bright, precise alignment for professionals

STABILA, a leading designer and manufacturer of exceptionally high-quality precision measuring equipment, has launched the new LAX 60 G cross line laser – a compact and versatile solution for accurate marking and alignment work in interior construction and installation.

The STABILA LAX 60 G gives professionals a compact, versatile and immediately ready-to-use cross line laser for accurate marking and alignment in both the horizontal and vertical plane. Thanks to GreenBeam technology, it projects extremely bright, razor-sharp green laser lines that are visible at distances of up to 30m, even in daylight conditions. In manual mode, the lines can be flexibly positioned at any angle, while pulse mode allows the working area to be extended to as much as 80m with the aid of a receiver.

Long-line visibility at any angle

Whether in drywall construction, tiling, decorating, joinery, electrical installation or plumbing, heating and air-conditioning installation, the LAX 60 G cross line laser makes marking, aligning and assembly tasks significantly easier. With a levelling accuracy of ± 0.3mm/m, it delivers high precision on every job.

Featuring powerful magnets and a 1/4in thread, the unit can be attached to steel beams or radiators, or mounted on a tripod such as the STABILA ST-K-S. For marking diagonals, the pendulum can be locked in manual mode to fix the laser lines at the required angle. In large or brightly lit spaces, pulse-modulated laser lines can be activated to extend the working area to as much as 80m when used with an optional receiver.

Immediately ready & easy to operate

Thanks to pendulum technology specially designed for construction site use, the LAX 60 G self-levelling cross line laser is immediately ready for operation and easy to use with just two buttons. Powered by three supplied AA 1.5V batteries, its high-performance laser diodes provide an operating time of up to 15 hours. Users can monitor the charge status via the LED battery display and extend operating time further by switching individual lines on and off as required.

Designed for tough everyday use on site

Protected against internal dust accumulation and water spray from all directions (IP54), the LAX 60 G features a shock-absorbent STABILA soft-grip casing that also protects against impacts. The pendulum locking mechanism prevents damage during transportation and helps maintain long-term accuracy.

Supplied with a sturdy belt pouch for safe storage, the laser also includes a target plate with magnetic holder and crosshair, making it easier to align the laser with a target point. For suspended ceilings, the target plate can be easily attached to metal rails using the magnetic holder.
