The new M18 FUEL™ SURGE™ ¼in Hex hydraulic impact driver features a ground-up redesign of the FLUID-DRIVE™ Hydraulic Powertrain, delivering up to 50% quieter operation than standard impact drivers. This significant reduction in noise helps limit long-term hearing risks for professionals who rely on impact drivers daily. Quieter performance also makes the SURGE™ hydraulic driver ideal for use in occupied spaces or noise-restricted environments, allowing users to work confidently with minimal disruption.

Delivering a noticeably smoother driving experience, the new impact driver reduces metal-on-metal contact within the tool, providing up to 3x less vibration than standard impacts. This reduction in vibration helps to minimise user fatigue and strain during prolonged use. The compact design measures just 109mm and weighs 1.8kg (with M18 B5 battery), making it easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces and comfortable for extended applications.

Powered by the POWERSTATE™ Brushless motor, the tool delivers up to 3x faster driving speeds than the first generation and up to 113Nm of torque, expanding its application range.
