HOMAG sets new standards with its new EDGETEQ P-200 digital edge printer

This latest innovation – a compact yet powerful digital edge printing machine – allows manufacturers to print directly onto neutral edgebands, thus eliminating the need for costly stockholding or complex pre-treatment

Designed to unlock new creative possibilities for furniture, interior fit-out, shopfitting and exhibition stand construction, the EDGETEQ P-200 delivers four-colour brilliance, high-speed performance and user-friendly operation in one sleek solution.

The EDGETEQ P-200 brings a whole new creative dimension to the edgebanding process. From vibrant decors and photorealistic textures – such as simulating oak grain – to bespoke logos, slogans and surface effects, the design opportunities are virtually limitless. Joiners can customise workpieces quickly and effortlessly, meeting precise customer requirements with ease.

Operating the EDGETEQ P-200 is straightforward. The machine integrates seamlessly with HOMAG’s woodCommander interface, enabling users to choose from pre-set templates, upload their own designs, or access third-party libraries. Colour management and RIP (Raster Image Processing) are built into the interface for fast, reliable setup.

Once a design is selected and the workpiece loaded, the P-200 automatically cleans the edgeband – including the radius – before feeding it past stationary print heads that apply the chosen design using UV-curable ink. A fifth colour channel adds a protective varnish, which cures instantly thanks to UV LED technology, to ensure a durable, professional finish.

Designed for efficiency & flexibility

Measuring less than 4m long and 1.5m wide, the EDGETEQ P-200 is compact enough for workshops of any size. It prints at up to 13m/min with a crisp 360dpi resolution, handling workpieces from 120-2,500mm in length and edge thicknesses up to 3mm.

Built for reliability, the machine features a precise feed system, chemical-mechanical cleaning for optimum print quality and a continuous automatic ink supply for uninterrupted production. Optional extras, such as the ergonomic air cushion table, further simplify handling of larger panels.
