Salvamac’s participation in LIGNA 2025 marked a decisive step forward in the company’s evolution – one built on the synergy between technology, human values and strategic vision. Held in Hannover, this year’s edition of the world’s most important woodworking trade fair saw Salvamac reach new heights in both visibility and industry impact.

For the first time in its history, Salvamac unveiled a 170sq.m exhibition space – its largest to date – hosted in partnership with long-term collaborator Incoplan, specialists in wood drying systems based in Treviso, Italy. This alliance was more than symbolic, however; it reflected a deep synergy between companies that share core values of quality, innovation and human connection.

Seven machines, four global premieres & the rise of AI in woodworking

The Salvamac stand became a dynamic showcase for the breadth and evolution of the company’s product range. A total of seven machines were on display, representing its full offering in crosscutting and optimising technology.

Among them, four models made their world premiere at LIGNA. These included the latest generation of the SalvaPush_2000 – a high-speed automatic optimising saw featuring enhanced safety and improved servo control — and the SalvaCut_5000, which is designed for ultra-precise, heavy-duty crosscutting with minimal setup time.

Also debuting were two new compact saws aimed at smaller workshops: the Legend 650, and the Legend 550 with SalvaStop, combining simplicity, efficiency and affordability without compromising on build quality.

A key highlight was the official launch of SalvaSmart_4.0_AI – a revolutionary optimisation software powered by artificial intelligence. This cutting-edge system dynamically adapts cutting strategies based on real-time data, material classification and user behaviour, which significantly reduces waste while increasing productivity. It marks a major leap in the digital transformation of woodworking for manufacturers of all sizes.

A people-driven experience: 12 experts, one mission

Beyond the technology, Salvamac reaffirmed its core strength: its people. With a dedicated team of 12 professionals representing various markets and languages, the company created a warm, inclusive atmosphere that resonated with visitors.

Over five dynamic days, the team managed hundreds of meetings – from introductory conversations to detailed technical and commercial consultations. The trade fair became not only a hub for finalising new orders – many signed on-site – but also a fertile ground for building future partnerships across markets including Germany, France, Ireland, the UK and beyond.

The AperiParty: where business meets heart

A standout moment of the week was the now-iconic Salvamac AperiParty, held on Tuesday evening at the stand. Friends, partners and clients from across Europe and beyond gathered in a relaxed celebration of community, trust and shared vision.

During the event, Salvamac presented several recognition awards, honouring companies and individuals for their technical excellence, loyalty and human values. Recipients included long-standing dealers, promising new market entrants, and even sector media such as Xylon, acknowledged for editorial quality and its role in promoting innovation within the woodworking industry.

The event was more than just a party, however; it was a heartfelt tribute to the people behind the machines, and a powerful reminder that success is a shared journey.
