Located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, the WEINIG UK headquarters is home to a modern, fully equipped showroom showcasing the very best in solid wood and panel processing technology from across the WEINIG and HOLZ-HER ranges.

The Abingdon showroom serves as a central hub for live demonstrations, technical training and hands-on customer consultations. With over 20 machines on display, it offers one of the most comprehensive selections of woodworking machinery under one roof in the UK, catering for everything from compact solutions for smaller workshops to high-throughput systems for industrial-scale production.

DEMONSTRATING SMART WORKFLOW & SEAMLESS RESULTS

Visitors can explore integrated production lines in action, including profiling, ripping, CNC processing and edgebanding – ideal for joiners, furniture makers and manufacturers looking to enhance efficiency and precision.

A stand-out feature is the System Plus workflow, which digitally connects design, tooling and profiling for seamless operation. At its centre is the SOLID PROFILE P 1500, a high-speed, high-accuracy moulder networked to the in-house toolroom. Supporting models include the compact SOLID PROFILE P 300 and P 500, alongside the ever-popular SOLID PLANE CUBE planer.

WEINIG TIMBER CONVERSION TECHNOLOGIES ON SHOW

Visitors can also see WEINIG’s end-to-end timber conversion technologies in action, starting with the SOLID RIP V 310 M multi-rip saw. Equipped with automated optimisation software, this machine maximises material yield while reducing waste – ideal for operations where precision and profitability go hand in hand.

Complementing it is the SOLID SPLIT B 900 bandsaw, which handles thicker or irregular timber with clean, accurate cuts, providing essential flexibility during material preparation.

CNC machining is another highlight of the showroom. Three formats are on display to suit different workshop needs: console CNCs for efficient precision routing; flatbed models for large components and complex profiles; along with the vertical Evolution CNC, which delivers full multi-axis capabilities within a compact footprint. These solutions support seamless, scalable workflows for both bespoke joinery and industrial-scale manufacturing.

HOLZ-HER PANEL PROCESSING IN ACTION

HOLZ-HER’s panel processing solutions are presented in a dedicated area of the showroom, offering live demonstrations of technology designed for both custom one-off projects and continuous production.

At the heart of the setup is the Tectra beamsaw, which delivers high-speed, high-precision cutting of single panels or stacked books. This is paired with a complete range of HOLZ-HER edgebanders, all featuring the brand’s patented GluJet system.

Operating with PUR or EVA glue cartridges, GluJet offers rapid heat-up times, strong bonds and virtually invisible glue lines – ideal for manufacturers seeking both performance and visual quality.

Engineered for digital integration and efficiency, HOLZ-HER’s solutions support streamlined, future-ready production environments. Whether you’re a bespoke furniture maker or scaling up operations, the technology on show provides intelligent, adaptable solutions.

A PRACTICAL, CUSTOMER-FOCUSED ENVIRONMENT

The WEINIG UK showroom is more than just a display – it’s a hands-on, customer-focused environment. The in-house team of experienced technicians and product specialists is always available for one-to-one consultations and tailored demonstrations.

Whether you’re upgrading a single machine or planning a fully connected workflow, their aim is to help you find the right solution, not simply make the next sale.

In addition to machinery demos, the Abingdon site features a dedicated meeting space for training sessions, project planning and technical workshops. Regular open-house events and in-house exhibitions provide further opportunities to explore the latest innovations in solid wood and panel processing.
