The Dutch Joinery Alliance (DJA), a partnership of six leading Dutch suppliers to the door and window industry, has officially launched with a mission to simplify and modernise production for manufacturers across the UK and beyond

Bringing together expertise from across the entire joinery supply chain, the DJA offers a complete, integrated production solution, which covers CNC machining, automation, surface treatment, coatings, sill systems and wooden door blanks. By uniting these complementary disciplines, the alliance allows manufacturers to achieve faster lead times, higher output and consistently high quality.

The founding members of the DJA include Anker Stuy Coatings, Bos Machines, Duivestein Techniek, Ekosiet, Mill Panel and Trivec – each a specialist in their respective field. Together, they form a connected innovation chain designed to streamline processes and reduce the complexity of working with multiple suppliers.

The alliance will make its official debut at the Professional Woodworking Expo in Birmingham, which takes place from 23–25 June 2026. Exhibiting alongside UK partner JJ Smith Woodworking Machinery, the DJA will present a fully integrated stand where visitors can experience the entire production ecosystem in action – from raw materials through to finished components.

“The future of joinery lies in collaboration,” said Teus Jan de Jong CEO of the DJA. “By combining machines, materials and expertise into one connected system, we help manufacturers modernise their production while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.”

Two core objectives

The DJA is built on two core objectives: 1) To leverage the combined networks and market positions of its members to reach international customers; 2) To actively promote 'The Future of Joinery' on a global stage. With increasing industry pressures such as labour shortages, sustainability requirements and demand for longer-lasting products, the alliance delivers practical, forward-thinking solutions.

Rooted in the Netherlands’ strong tradition of engineering excellence and international cooperation, the DJA brings a proven approach to innovation and efficiency. Its model is further strengthened by local UK support, including JJ Smith Woodworking Machinery as the machinery partner and Anker Stuy Coatings’ established UK presence in Peterborough, ensuring direct access to expertise and service.

Looking ahead, the DJA will continue its international engagement with an inbound trade visit to the Netherlands in autumn 2026, offering partners and customers the opportunity to see its solutions in operation at manufacturing sites and member facilities.

With a clear vision of building the future of joinery together and a mission to help manufacturers improve quality and efficiency, the Dutch Joinery Alliance invites industry professionals to explore how a smarter, more connected supply chain can unlock new levels of performance.
