120 years of Weinig; 50 years of LIGNA. A double milestone, celebrated with high-performance solutions. The focus: automation, efficiency and futureproofing

Visitors to LIGNA 2025 will experience innovations such as the self-setting Powermat 3000, the WLP 200 vacuum gantry for fully automatic workpiece handling, and the HS 200 with delta robot loading. Weinig System Solutions will present new production concepts, including a 3D-animated CLT system. Together with HOLZ-HER, H.I.T. and Essetre, Weinig Group aims to showcase its strength as a full-range supplier.

Since the first trade fair in 1975, Weinig has been a key presence, and in 2025, the company presents itself stronger than ever. Alongside proven solutions for both panel and solid wood processing, Weinig will unveil a wide range of new products in Hall 27.

Weinig System Solutions is a particular highlight, offering tailored, holistic solutions in the CLT sector. Across more than 5,000m², the company will present over 45 machines and solutions, with live demonstrations of exclusive innovations.

 Shaping tomorrow’s success together

In 2025, Weinig continues to set industry standards, supporting a strong, competitive woodworking sector with future-ready, customer-focused solutions. Made in Germany stands for quality and innovation.

Weinig is more than a supplier, however – it’s a partner and driver of customer success. Through continuous innovation and expanded production capabilities, Weinig keeps its customers one step ahead with maximum productivity.

Setting benchmarks in automation

The following Weinig innovations set new standards in both automation and efficiency.

• Powermat 3000: Fully automatic profile changes reduce setup times and enable economical production – even for small batches – while ensuring consistently high quality, independent of the operator.

• WLP 200 Vacuum Portal: Boosts productivity with fully automated workpiece handling. Its precise control system optimises machine integration, minimises errors and improves process reliability.

• HS 200 with Delta Robot Loading: Weinig’s first integrated solution of its kind, which reduces personnel costs through accurate pick-and-place handling. Unsorted material is gently aligned and fed to the finger jointing line via vacuum grippers – ideal for delicate wood. The delta robot ensures consistent output across all shifts, while automatic part orientation and quality sorting enhance efficiency, especially with waney-edge material.

• OptiCut S 90 Superdrill: A cross-cut system with integrated drilling unit for snipping, routing and drilling in one step. Features automatic tool change for faster production with high precision.

• viaBOX: Your workshop’s all-rounder for connectivity and monitoring. This robust, future-ready solution handles data acquisition, live monitoring, production overviews and data buffering – all in one.

Production concepts for the woodworking industry

Weinig offers one of the most complete portfolios in engineered wood. At LIGNA 2025, a 3D-animated CLT line will be shown on a large LED wall, including a virtual factory tour. At interactive screen stations, visitors can plan and analyse projects with Weinig experts.

The Essetre Multiwall machine, with a 6-axis unit – ideal for advanced CLT and timber-frame construction – demonstrates new production possibilities. The expanded WoodSave system continues to revolutionise woodworking. Known for minimising chipping in surface planing, it now supports conical lamella planing, enabling greater material efficiency, especially in CLT production.
